The Official Digital Media Library of the Uganda Media Centre
Our Mission
The Uganda Media Centre Online Library preserves and shares the nation's visual and documentary record. From presidential addresses and press briefings to the newspapers that chronicled them, we digitise, organise and publish the materials that tell Uganda's story — for journalists, researchers, students and every citizen.
Who It Serves
The library is open to the public. Anyone can browse and preview the full collection; registered members enjoy unlimited downloads, access to the complete document archive, personal favourites and a direct line to the library team.
Authentic & Official
Every item is catalogued by the Media Centre's own team, with verified dates, sources and descriptions. Newspaper articles carry their original publication details so citations remain accurate.
